This manual outlines a very practical approach to working with children living on the streets through its focus on holistic, family-based, non-residential interventions. The manual, based on the work of Child Restoration Outreach Uganda and a companion manual to “Voice in the Streets” by Marion Derbyshire, considers how to empower street children, their families, and their communities, so that children living on the streets can be successfully re-integrated with their families. It considers every stage of working with street children – from project foundations, to design, implementation, and monitoring, and is suitable for use by practitioners, pastors, youth leaders, staff, project managers, and advocates.

A practical handbook for multi-stage ministry to street children, this manual examines the ministry of Youth With a Mission (YWAM) in Bogotá, Colombia .
