MODULE SEVEN - Development, Evaluation & Monitoring of Programs
This module presents techniques for the development, evaluation and monitoring of programmes.
The module starts with a look at the reasons and benefits of carrying out an evaluation of a projects including identifying relevant indicators, writing a terms of reference and preparing an evaluation plan.
Principles for good practice in programmes working with children are looked at and Tearfund's child development framework for good practice is specifically considered
Key aspects of organisational assessment are discussed and several assessment activities give participants the opportunity to assess their own organisation.
The module concludes with a session on how rehabilitation and prevention programs can work together in promoting effective child development programs
